The 37th annual “Festival de la Independencia de Centroamérica” was held at MacArthur Park in Westlake, Los Angeles, to celebrate the Independence Day of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. This event has become a tradition and attracts a large Central American audience, demonstrating their cultural legacy through live music, food stands with authentic cuisine, and various vendors selling items from their homelands. The festival educates guests about the diversity found in Central America but also brings people together and strengthens their connection to people from similar backgrounds in Los Angeles.
