Irving Saladino is a Panamanian long jumper and has won Panama’s first and only Olympic gold medal, which he won at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In 2007 Saladino was world champion in the long jump and had the longest jumps in the world in the 2006 and 2008 seasons. He constantly demonstrated his skill on the global stage and represented Panama at three consecutive Olympics and competed at four World Championships in Athletics.
